SRAM newb question

Looking at a CL bike w/ SRAM force thinking
Of buying just for the group set and then
Flipping it, question, it has disc brakes
Will the shifters work with regular force
Brakes or are they different for disc set up?

I ride post 2010 Force regulary, Force will work with Force brakes very well.....made to. Never heard of a disc set-up with force levers.
Are they SRAM disk brakes, i.e. Avid Exliar, XO, XX, X-something? One is mechanical the other hydraulic. Only Avid BB5 and BB7 is mechanical.

SRAM force/rival/red/apex brake levers will work with regular SRAM brakes, enve though it may be set up with a disc brake now. I user regular rival shifters with avid bb7 disc brakes.

Awesome thanks!

They are avid bb7 discs, it came with
shimano 105 standard, he upgraded the entire
group to force ( cranks too ) the bike is cool but
im only interested in the group for my litespeed , and I think
at 700$ it's a sweet deal with the force
group
