Shaving arm hair?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shaving arm hair?

I have to that I feel the wind a lot more on my arms and would think that shaving arm hair would yield real benefit?

You think arm hair is a significant contributor to wind resistance ? Quite possible.

Eyebrows are a real contributor to drag.

If I were you I shave every last hair or better yet get a full Brazilian and I do mean full.

Sweat! Feels so much better when it wicks off smooth skin then getting trapped in hair. I shave my arms for this reason, and also to expose the $2000 worth of ink I have on them.

Can't I just superglue them to my head for the same benefit?

Ding ding we have a winner! Shaving legs or arms has nothing to do with wind resistance; it is mostly about vanity and a little bit about tradition.

Every season I shave my arms so that I no longer end up with a horrible goopy mess of sunscreen-matted arm-hair, and putting it on now takes just a few seconds. Also it requires less of the stuff to get full coverage.

Unless I've been misinformed, shaving has very little to do with wind resistance. If you're going to shave your arms for the aero benefit, you should get some sun sleeves or something like that.

Legs are different. Shaved legs make me feel pretty.

I have heard that sawing the drops off your bars yields much less resistance...and saves weight, too!

What's your average speed Op? That is going to determine if you will get any benefit to going hairless. Of course if it helps you get a date, you should just get everything waxed and be done with it....and I do mean everything.
