best bike basket that will fit my bike

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Put a front or rear rack on the bike and zip-tie the basket to the rack. On the front, this will put the basket lower and out of the way. If you need to use the rack for panniers, you can easily cut off and reinstall the zip-ties.

I will give you a little advice. Roadies look for ways of taking weight off of the bike not adding more to it. The reaction you will get here is similar to asking how to strap bricks on your carbon fiber frame. The only thing I would even consider on a road bike would be a seatpost rack.

Rear rack and milk crate zip tied to it is the way to go.

One of my bikes has a skinny rack for attaching panniers. Its my commuter bike though. Yeah, I visit both subforums on BF
