This is nuts!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is nuts!

Cx bike.

Mind you, I've thrown down in a skate park with 34x27, 28c tires and flat pedals on mine.

In the 70s we took two ten speeds, welded them together into a tandem and took the beast into an abandoned skate park. Broke the bike in half on our first drop into a half pipe. Riding ten speeds and mopeds in that skate park was common. I'm surprised none of us were ever seriously hurt.

It's two years old, but still fun to watch. Trials on a carbon road bike.

the concept of doing an out and in air on a really big half pipe still sounds insanely fun and is completely feasible. does anyone ride vert on non bmx bikes regularly? seems like a 29'r set up with rigid fork would work well.....
