Ever get to talking to your fellow cyclist?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dumbass never put his other hand back on the bars. I guess that little piece of paper was really important. Love how the dude in the back simply couldn't avoid the 5mph crash.

Dude was watching everything else besides the road!

I actually t seemed like he corrected himself after almost going down. I really can't understand what happened after that.

Clearly, this was precipitated by the flagrant violation of Rule #35.

It looks like the guy ended up with both hands on the right side of the bars...he had no hope of recovering at that point.

Was he fishing a cue sheet out of his pocket, or rubbing icy hot on his RCMP uniform?

This is why you learn to ride no-handed. The guy crashed because instead of sitting up and using both hands to fiddle with the cue sheet, he tried to keep a hand on the bar and lost his balance.

^ Or, it's why you put the directions from your cue sheet into your Garmin.

While riding in a double line yesterday, the guy in front and to the right of me turned around to say something to me, hit something and almost lost it. He swerved toward the curb, overcorrected, came out, almost overcorrected again and recovered. The rest of us were laughing so hard that we almost went down too.

I'm thinking if you are ridig with a lady on a beach cruiser that you likely don't need a cue sheet.

That last bit of the video where his bikes back wheel comes flipping over the top kills me. I'm assuming he hit the ladies back wheel and went over.... Over the top.

Looks like the guy had the right hand on the left side of the bar, and it guaranteed that he will fall. I learned that lesson when I was a kid.

Oh heck yeah, left hand on right bar. That almost never ends well.

Great audio, though. As a videographer, I'm struck by the clarity and general lack of wind noise.

This.

Of course, he could have been pulling out papers to roll up a big fatty.

I think he totally stood a chance to make out with that woman until he demonstrated his awesome bike handling skills.

I'm guessing they were doing about 6mph or less. No wind noise, his lips were the only things flapping, and no-hands was not likely an option.
