Things I've learned on the 41...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The 41 is a good site for entertainment purposes IMO. Plus, it has the occasional good advice if you can sort it out.
And maybe I couldn't do 26 mph up a 5% grade, but did 30 mph down an 8% once.

I bet I could beat you for the longest uphill time.

Some would get answers faster if they used the search function.

Ahhh... the 41 ain't so bad. Hang out with a group of OCD Triathletes for a day... you'll come running back to the 41. I used to say the worst thing about cycling is cyclists. Then I tried triathlon. Give me a group of self obsessed cyclists any day. ;-)
