The UNofficial Tour de France Thread (no spoilers)

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tell y'all what.....I'll leave this here for you folks in road to discuss the tour, as long as it doesn't turn into the usual nastiness of the fan threads with Lance hate, etc, and spoilers, and doping allegations. I'll even stick the thread for you. If it becomes a problem for my staff, and they have to spend a bunch of time monitoring and cleaning this thread, though, it'll either be closed or moved to pro, or even worse, Trollheim!

eh...you'll be able to talk more about past days as this progresses. Theres plenty to discuss that doesn't involve spoilers.

That was pretty funny. I normally skip the commercials but backed up for that one.

Thanks! I though for a second it could have been, gasp.... a camelback. Or the new guy carrying snacks.

I'm going to buy the tour tracker so I can watch it on my computer at work.
I have nothing better to do for the next three weeks.

Did anyone notice who the hippies in the van were? See if you can pick out the riders playing them.

I have a Cannondale, just want an EVO six right now!
