Half finger, non-padded, Uveto. They have leather palm. I'd probably prefer leather back too.

Full Finger Giro Bravo all the time. Only thing that fits my hand properly. No problems with being hot either.
Like others here I would probably also go with a pair of Mechanix if I found some I liked, but even those are a delicate fit.

padded 1/2 finger when it's warm.
when it's too cold for that I go full finger ... duh
in the winter I'll go as far as glove liners with chemical hand warmers and loose fitting winter gloves over that
