I have 2 Sigma BC1609 Double wireless with cadence and a Sigma BC509 wired computer. Better looking than the Cateyes and packed with more features too.

Had a bad experience with 2 Cateye computers. Their reset buttons would stick "in" and the display would begin generating gibberish even after the reset was released with a straight pin. Made sure I hadn't pushed the reset in too far or hard. Got fed up and brought a Specialized wireless unit for $35.00 from the LBS. Cateye's position was that I had broken them when I used the reset button so they were my problem. No complaints about it what so ever. Maybe the Strada model would work better but I don't want to spend any more on computers.

Lots of votes for the Strada, and I agree. One ergonomic feature I like is that you can easily cycle through the screens while riding, with just a tap on the faceplate. Some other brands, like Bontrager, require you to push buttons that are hard to reach and depress even while stationary.

Also, the GPS seems to drain my wife's phone really fast.

I am currently using RunKeeper, works great, but I plan on getting a trainer, and a trainer will not work with a GPS only app/computer.
