BMC Warranty question - warped frameset.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BMC Warranty question - warped frameset.

I received my new BMC Time Machine TM01 frameset yesterday. It was pretty hot today and I left it in my car and I believe it warped. Is that covered under warranty or do I need to buy a new frameset?

They will warranty it if you get back to them in TIME.

So did you spend 12K on this one? Nice bike -- I assume it's replacing the TT02?

Frameset was $4,500. Wheels are around $3,000. Crank is around $1,800. So, that is around $9,300 before getting to the other goodies. It won't quite retail for $12,000 but it won't be too far off.

I think I like the shot from the rear drop-out best.

So...with the frame warped like that how will it affect cornering?

Ok, you can't post this without including pictures of all the other components...

A fisheye picture of bike wheels seems like it would turn out pretty cool.

It is going to be amazing on left hand turns. Right hand turns are going to suck!!!!

I believe the wheels are warped enough they should work alright with the frame. Glad I left them in my car today as well.

Bet you can get some wide tyres in the frame now! Nice fish eye lens work, what kind of camera are you shooting?

That fish tank is almost as ubiquitous in your bike porn shots as Pcad's bench. You should incorporate it more.

I have been neglecting the glass so it is looking pretty bad. It is still very healthy but there is algae that really needs to be scraped off.

The frame looks fine to me. I think you left the lens in the heat too long though.

the wheels pic looks like it belongs in the trailer for the new Batman movie. Dayum son. I expect top quality pics of the build like your past builds. Good stuff.

Yeah that frame is trashed, same with the wheels. Best to throw them in the dumpster down the street, preferably one that is near my house.

Sick frame man! Post some BF approved pics once you build it up. Do you have any idea on what components you are going to use? The Sram Red crank would look nice with the frame...

Thanks. I will be taking most of the components off of my current tt bike so nothing overly special besides the frame, wheels, and crankset. I plan on upgrading the cockpit later on but until then it is going to be aluminum profile base bar and aero bars. Shifters and brake levers are SRAM TT500. I can't remember for certain but I believe I have Force derailleurs, they aren't anything special but they work fine so no need to upgrade since weight isn't really an issue. Crankset is a SRAM Quarq.
