I would look at a helmet or bibs. Just try on a bunch of bibs until you find some that fit. However I think I remember you mentioning that you got the bike at city bikes. As much as I love that shop, they just dont carry a large selection in clothing. Well at least not in small clothing, as the smallest they have in anything is a medium. I go into the downtown one all the time look at jerseys and they never have smalls! Their Greenback store carries even less.
Go try on some helmets there and if you like it then I would get that. Or see if they 'll give you a refund back onto your card. They drive 3 streets over to Mikes Bikes and and try their stuff on. They carry a ton of clothing.

Tools.
If you plan on doing your own maintenance, get a bike stand, some cable cutters, spoke wrenches, a good allen wrench set, a cassette lockring tool, a pedal wrench, etc.
$200 is about the price of a Park professional truing stand.
Or spend about $100 more and get a (nearly) complete toolkit:

Can't decide if helmet or bibs would be worth it more...

I vote for a better ventilated helmet if your current one is very hot. Clothing, tools, repair stand, and consumables (tubes, chains, bar wrap, lube) are always worth having around or extras of.

I have the Giro Indicator helmet, and I'm perfectly happy with it's ventilation...but then again, I've got a bald head.

If the helmet you have doesn't vent too well, being that you are in Sac I would say the new helmet would have the most gains. But... bibs are absolutely amazing as well.

It's the only helmet I've ever worn while road biking, so I don't really know how it would compare...without testing another for an extended period.

I now have $226, that after browsing, I couldn't find anything I really wanted.
Tried on Capo bib shorts (Pursuit link) @ $170, they seemed to fit. That was the only size Small bib short they had in stock. Not sure how I feel about $170 bib shorts, even if that is somehow one of the cheaper ones from Capo...are they any good? Worth $170?

How long is the credit good for? You might consider using it only for items that you need to buy at your LBS unless their discounts are pretty darn good.

You have another thread talking about the 'tree stump' of spacers that you have on top of your stem and how concerned you are. Obviously you have not been properly fitted when you bought your bike.
HTFU and get a fit....

I don't follow, what would the point of this be? They only gave me store credit, wouldn't put it back on my card.

Those bibs are actually pretty good but I like the dorato from capo better. As for the fitting they only have 2 guys there that do them and they are both great. See if they'll do something now with all those spacers. If not then just sit on the credit and buy stuff when needed. ride the bike for a couple hundred miles and see how the fit feels. I just went in after 600 miles on my tarmac to get new handlebars cause the drops were just to dam big. You'll find something you need later.
The suggestion for the serfas light was great.I just bought it for 39.00. It charges via USB and attaches via a rubber strap so you dont have to clamp anything on.
