That's funny...I rode this morning in the rain, over hills, did some sprint reps, and didn't even realize that I had saved 60k

My wife, who is generally supportive of my cycling wishes, has suggested that I monitor the price over time. When it falls by about 58 - 59,000 bucks, I should discuss it with her again. She made this generous and understanding offer without even looking at the link! I can't wait to get mine!

Didn't I see one of those in the movie "American Flyer"?

And I thought my new Cyclops Fluid2 was expensive enough for a trainer. Apprantly not :p

Seems awfully low to be useful at the elite level. $35K? $60K? Regardless, seems like the space/cost/transport issues would make for limited/no utility anywhere but an elite sports medicine clinic. Maybe I'm missing something, but couldn't see it being used for any non-cycling specific applications because it requires some base skills just to get on and stay on (like low testoserone version of rollers...).

aaahhhh with that kina money I'd find coach some place warm and hilly and go train that way!

I wasn't interested until I saw the view looking from the back with that little fan on the front; yep, that little fan SOLD me!!! I'm getting three; one each for my wife and me and one spare. :p

Seriously though, I do think that teams could use them, especially in the off season for training purposes. I still wouldn't think it would "replace" the actual riding of the real courses, but it could help get some miles on them.
