Replacing cycling computer?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Replacing cycling computer?

Ok so about a week ago I purchased a carbon bike off of Craigslist. the deal was too good to pass up so I quickly snatched it up, it's an awesome bike and I came to discover that it has all the components to an old computer still attached to it (different monitors on different sections: the rear wheel, one of the cranks, etc) and there's also the little plastic clip where the computer would go if it was still there. So basically my question is can I find a replacement computer that will be compatible with the pieces that are already on it?

Probably. The one on the crank is a cadence sensor.

If you post a bunch of pics, people will ogle your bike until somebody posts "I have that computer, it's a ..."

Pretty sure that's a mount for a Cateye, but those picture are still pretty small. Take a look under the handlebar mount and see if there is a part number. Call Cateye (they have pretty awesome people working there) and ask them what model computer fits it. Then, if you can find one...have at it!

Ah I did some more looking and I found cat eye inscribed on the pedal magnet. That's a step in the right direction, I guess I'll just check their stuff out. Thanks redtires I wouldn't have known cat eye was significant without your help.
