What types of pedals are these?
I have these pedals that came with my Trek 1220... I want to get cleats and shoes for them. I have no idea what cleats or shoes will work with them. Preferably, I want shoes that I can walk with in addition to cycle. I am new to the sport and would like any comments/suggestions on this.

Thanks

bicycle pedals!
but seriously, they look like SPD style so you'll need an SPD cleat. Get a mountain bike type shoe and put the cleat on them and you'll be able to walk around with them.

Those look like some type of SPD pedal. Most shoe/cleat combos of that type are 'walkable'. Look for the 2-hole style of shoe of which most will be touring or mtb models.
Note, do not confuse with SPD-SL which is a road style pedal/cleat for 3 hole shoes.
