SRAM Rival vs Shimano CX70 (Ultegra) crankset?
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a new crankset for my cross bike. I'm debating between the SRAM Rival and the Shimano CX70 which is Ultegra level i guess.
I'm look for a durable, stiff, and reasonably light crankset that shifts well. I've searched these forums and googled all over but i can't find any comparisons or maybe opinions at all...
Thanks!
edit: i haven't been on this forum in awhile. Am i crazy or did there used to be a wheels/tires forum and a components forum?

They both look to be pretty equal. The weight is with in a few grams, both should shift well. I think CX70 might be little stiffer than the Rival, I have ridden the CX70. Something else to thing about is a used Force, it will be stiffer and lighter than the Shimano.
Here one with the BB for the same price as the CX70 crankset https://www.ebay.com/itm/SALE-2012-SR...item5894eeca7d
