Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is this a good bike?

Yes, Cannondale is good. As for price, look up "completed listings" to see what similar models have sold for.
As mentioned, looks as though the right pedal hit the pavement. Not sure if it's broken or not. Couple of small scratches on the rear derailleur, but looks ok. Bid accordingly.

For 700 total it would be a good bike. seeing as how it comes with pedals and a computer, bag, water bottle holder. The second set of brake levers are a nice touch for a newb, and typically add to the cost of the bike.
