Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Riding in Bozeman

I am on vacation next week in Bozeman Mt. area. I found a place that will rent a road bike. Not my own but would be cool to get out and ride. Does anyone have a few spots that are good riding maybe low traffic? I looked on Strava but the flat lander is looking for some climbs and so descends too. On a Felt100 with a triple it will be a different animal but it should work.

Bozeman is a beautiful area and should offer some great riding. If you're going to ride early or late--take your warmers.

I think he meant spots that have less buffalo and elk on the road.

I would imagine that's beautiful riding up there!
