Most accurate Presta gauge?
 

Looking for a gauge I can stuff in my pack, but is dead accurate! Don't care about digital vs. analog, either is fine. I want accurate!

A few pounds one way or the other doesn't make any difference. Plus you always loose a few pounds using a separate gauge

Checking pressure of a road tire using a gauge after you inflate the tire is not worthwhile because the mere act of pressurizing the gauge to check it will reduce the amount of air in the tire, thanks to the relatively low volume. Also, like was already posted, a few pounds isn't worth worrying about anyway. Just pump it and ride it.

i have a topeak smartgauge, which seems pretty accurate. If you do it right you lose very little when checking the tire.

BTW i pretty much never use the thing. Unless i get a new type of tire, so i know what 120 PSI feels like on that tire.

I should have said, I want it for the times I am filling up away from home with a mini pump and no floor pump with gauge is around.

Out here in western Mass, we get pretty good a squeezing a tire to know what feels like 110psi v 100 or less.

With most mini pumps, it's pretty easy to tell - arms feel tired and weak and no rest is 80 lbs; you rest and get back to pumping until you can't do any more and it's 100 lbs.

Well, not from them, they're out. And no one seems to carry it locally. It can be ordered from Amazon, but not sold by Amazon (boo - no Prime shipping).

Anyone have a review of it?
