Addiction - August 2012 addition

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't know. UT's second best receiver just left the team and now we're more dependent on a white turkey to make plays. Facepalm.

I've represented a couple white supremacists, one in a homicide case. After a year or so, you really get to understand the root of all that anger.

Not too bad for bopping around. I really enjoy it when they come to town, as bikes on the road are a cool thing for a day or two. Nederland really got into it. Tim Dugan was from there, and it seemed 1/4 of the town had green shirts on.

So close! You were headed in the right direction, you just had to run with it a little more - your conclusion is based upon nothing more than your logical (hoo boy) reasoning. Lest we forget, it was these same massive powers of deduction that interpreted a portion of a speech, by the world's biggest philanthropist, as a call to murder billions of people (when, in reality, it was about decreasing child mortality rates in third world countries).

Oh stop - this one data point is going to have the gun nuts nodding their heads while I-told-you-so-ing which will obligate others to dredge up millions of other instances in an effort to provide perspective.

Ah well, not like there's anything better to do today.

Bill Gates, and Ted Turner as well as most of the most powerful people in the world want to greatly reduce the population. Google: Georgia Guidestones, if you don't believe me.

In any event I don't give a flying fark right now. My dog ran in front of a car today and was struck hard. He got clocked pretty good, but the tough poodle that he is, he seems to be doing okay, just scared. I took off work today, to stay with him. He doesn't seem to have any broken bones, so that is good thing. He peed blood at first, but that has stopped. He is slowly starting to act like himself again.
