Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They played Speed of Sound unplugged from the side seats. They really worked the arena, tried to make everybody feel included in the show. It was super cool.

Is the U.S. winning any medals in sailing? There's got to be some point to the sport.

It's amazing how good the hot tub feels after a margarita. Now I'm going to set back and watch the new movie "Shark Week" on Syfy.

The last rock concert I went to was Stevie Ray Vaughn, about 3 or 4 months before he died. Amazing.

15% here. Had all the MUPs to myself. 102 F keeps people off their bikes better than 34 F and rain around here, apparently.

Woah, just about 100' climbing per mile, no wonder I feel so worked right now!!!

I'm holed up in a joint that has this for $2.00 per American pint. Not moving 'til near sundown.

Haven't had the pleasure of trying that one but I imagine I could get into some trouble with it.

The eclectic nature of Pcad's musical tastes are reflected by the last two shows I saw: John Fogerty (of Creedence fame) @ the Beacon in NYC last November, Coldplay at the Izod Center last night. Both shows were outstanding. But Coldplay was over the top amazing, I must say.

I walked up the hill for that DFL prize. I was riding a 35 pound Royce Union MTB with a 1x7 and only front brake that barely works.

My last show was a country rock gig:
