Windows 8 looks to me to be an unmitigated disaster that could decidedly hurt the company and its future.
This will help Apple.

As I was reading I'm like "Metro" ??? They ditched that codename last week after being threatened with lawsuit! Then checked article date.
I think Win8 is perfect for tablets.
John C. Dvorak, an unmitigated grump, is right about Win8 never flying in the business realm.

[h=1]Olympic Science: The Gear of the 2012 Games[/h]
Read more: Olympic Science: The Gear of the 2012 Games - Popular Mechanics
Like many aero bikes, the S5 features airfoil-shaped tubes, but Cervelo used extensive wind-tunnel testing to refine how the bike's carbon-fiber-composite frame works with its attendant parts (and rider). The seat stays are shaped to direct air around the rear-brake caliper, normally a source of turbulence. Brake and shift cables are routed internally, which saves 40 grams of drag over externally routed systems. The sum of Cervelo's innovations: In its tests the S5 saves 6 to 22 watts (depending on what bike it's up against) even when a rider is drafting.

Yes, it is a 54 and looks fine. The 7800 brifters, brakes and derailleurs look good. I was a little concerned about the cable routing effecting shifting but the components have never worked better. I have to post pictures.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it. I think pcad's shifting issues are inherent to the ICS2 routing that they used only in the 2009 S2, and some of the TT bikes. All of the newer bikes with the ICS3 like your bike, and mine should be fine. 54cm is the perfect size, post up those pics you friggen' slacker!

I do not like the direction computing in general is going. Interfaces aside, here is a prime example of how conflicting security measures enable hacking at an elementary level.
Worth reading every word. Thanks, Apple, Amazon and Google.
Come back in five years and Apple will be sitting in the caboose of computing with Samsung driving the engine.

Apple makes only operating software? :-)
Samsung supplies and competes with Apple. Samsung also makes things in markets where Apple does not yet compete. Apple is mitigating this gap by employing patent litigation instead of fairly competing. Desperation, in other words.
Samsung has the potential to crush Apple based on overall revenue. There's more to it than OS.
EDIT: Put it this way: If Apple is leading the division and Samsung is in second or even third, but five games out, beating any other opponent in the same league does them less good than beating the team in first. Apple. When you beat the leader, you gain a game, guaranteed, whereas you only gain half a game for sure by beating anyone else.
