Addiction - August 2012 addition

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why does every thread that mentions an LBS turn into a rant about ignorant or evil employees?

Watching Project X. I have to say, any party where the phrase "There is a midget in the oven" is yelled has to be one hell of a party.

Yes, but I'll be going for a run in an hour. Because it's Friday, the run will be followed by a traditional end-of-week beer (or two).

I'm on the bike today. Weird, I know.

I blew by a radar-wielding policeman in the school zone--27 MPH in the 25 zone.

I am an outlaw.

Agree running is dumb.

That said, I just came back from a 6.5 mile run. Not nearly as much fun as cycling, but better than nothing.
