Canadien border jumpers are getting even MORE out of control. Build the fence!
Brilliant. Maybe he is a terrorist?
I assume it is much more convenient crossing the border there than it is in Detroit, Buffalo, and a few other locations.

2002 Jetta TDI wagon - 290K miles, 44 mpg @ 78 mph, 37 mpg with the tandem on the roof. Discretionary clutch and turbo replacement at 280K miles. Best car I've ever owned and I'm going to drive it til it disintegrates. Oh, and the front brakes were done, first time, at 270K miles.

Jetta SportWagen rocks. If I drove 25k miles/year, I'd get the diesel. As it is, we'll drive much less, so we got the the gas 2.5L.

Anyone have thoughts on Mazda CX-5? I thought the base FWD 6 speed manual looked interesting. It is on my short list of potentials (along with Audi A3 & VW Sportwagen). Or I keep my rapidly rusting Mazda 3S (which is the most likely outcome).

Sam, as captured by the 10-22mm zoom during another critical Cotsis CAD Business Meeting. We hold these on the front stoop.

Lester porno shot. If you leave them to their own devices they might procreate. You'd wind up with Les Paul Juniors of course.

I just bought a new set of tires for my decrepit old Saab, so I'm gonna have to keep it for a while longer.

I don't workout. That's something that happens at a gym.
I just ride around on a bike and sometimes run around in the fields near my house.

My friend has a Giant TCR advanced and he says he rides about 700 km a year. He has never changed his chain in the 3 yers he has owned this bike and he wears a Cervelo team jersey and baggy lycra cycling shorts.
Just saying. I don't judge.

Japanese cars not so much. My Acura TL (2004): 153,000 miles, ONE repair other than routine maintenance, a seized rear brake caliper, under $300.

Matters much less if you drive low miles and you're leasing and turning the cars around every 2-4 years. We drive 'em and keep 'em. Mrs. Pcad has 28K miles on the Prius in the first year. When you drive that much the whole 50 mpg thing becomes critical. I estimate that these two gas sipping cars (Toyota Prius, Lexus CT200h) are saving us $4000 annually in lower costs, that's nearly $350 per month.
Teach your wife to hypermile. Dealing with you, she obviously has patience .
priuses (priui?) are able to actually get 1700 miles per tank! well thats the record. actually, its been awhile since I've done my research, but it was over 110 mpg on the record I saw, hell, I got 50 mpg avg on a tank across texas on my old '08 civic loaded down near its weight limit(850lbs including passengers! try loading 5 average americans into that thing! just kidding, it was a coupe, not possible), should be able to break that regularly with a hybrid!
Really, 60+mpg in a prius isnt hard at all all the monetary savings can go toward your new recumbent!

My last car was an Audi, but I didn't see much point in the A3 over the SportWagen unless a) you're getting one with Quattro AWD and/or b) you like the trim levels. I REALLY didn't like DSG transmission on the the S-series version - punchy little engine, but it felt like a 16-year-old was operating the clutch; it was more jerky than a BF Social. The VW also seems to have more cargo space, but that could be an illusion.

Great dog. Close to a great pic, but don't cut off his paws next time and level your horizon (it's tough with an ultra-wide angle, but practice at it).

Tacoma tailgate doesn't lock. That's dumb. Not good for bike safety, even with the security system. Pop n Lock ordered. Leer cap goes on Thursday.
