Inputs on Bike Fit...Track and Road
I'm open to your inputs on the bike fitting, what to look for and how to adjust. I tried it on my roller to see how I look for the first time on a bike, your thoughts are welcomed. Thanks!

The stem is a 110mm, should I use a 130mm? The position feels comfortable while on the tops and drops. The same length is on the fuji too, but the hoods adds a little longer of a reach.

IMO You are way too short in the track bike. The road one is kind'a ok.
If you do serious track racing why in the world do you want to grab the bike from the top of the handlebar??? Did track racing just in case and not just for fun...
Are you asian (or part asian) and short legged and with long trunk right? (just curiosity)
As for the fit in the track bike, the saddle height and pedaling are ok but you can go lower at least a couple of cm in the stem.
Clearly the handlebar fits you well, personally i never liked neither used super deep handlebars in the track because they relax you too much, specially in long per point races (30 to 50 km). My fav was a road aero nitto ADX (i believe) that they discontinued maybe like 10 or 15 years ago, for the track was fantastic.
This is what I would do, I would put a 12 cm stem but with more angle (or less angle), +- 25 degrees or so. That will lower the position and stretch you tiny more, you are too high IMO.... your tights should be almost touching your belly, the back will stretch more but it depends on your style, some guys have a hump, other ones are flat in the back but either way IMO you are way too upright, like riding a hybrid even when riding from the hoods. Even in the road bike you are lower and stretched than in the track bike.
Cinelli, token and Deda have 1 1/8 track stems with the correct angle.
Hope this helps more. This guy is referenced as having the perfect position over a track bike... Reginald "reg" Harris, the maestro. Yes im an old fart
Enjoy the track, I miss it a lot

Great Points! thanks. I've done a few seasons of track racing off and on and mainly Sprint Races. I had a 56cm frame before with a longer stem. I think this position is more for riding on the road escpecially while I'm on the tops. I think I do need to raise the seat post up a little more. I'm full asian at 5'10" with and inseam on 33". While doing a Flying 200m my best time was 12.6 but that was on a bigger bike.
That position looks killer on the back, plus my sciatic would not agree. But i do see you point on having the drops lower.

I'm around your size, and even almost same race... interesting... 12.6 is a respectable time... 57 km/h if im not wrong.
If you have back problems just go little by little in the saddle height.
The saddle height looks ok to me. What you can do is move the saddle up tiny bits each month so you get used to it. If the saddle is too high you lose some power that's why I advice you go little by little in the saddle height. Don't have to tell you that 50x15 kind'a hurt a lot the legs hehe
Are u racing with tubulars, right?

How'd you guess my gear on the track was 50x15? When I was racing on the track a couple of seasons ago it was on Tubulars and a Rear Disc. I run 50x18 on the Orbea right now and I'm trying to get use to the bike. When I hit 12.6 on the Flying 200m I was off the saddle from turn one all the way to turn 3. I think was running a lower gear then (49/15) but when it comes to sprinting against another rider I would have a significant jump on the the opponent but would max out too soon if they're able to suck my wheel over take me. I haven't raced for over a season and a half.
I'll have to adjust the saddle again...I did go from Look Deltas to Look Keo. I'm also forgetful and can never remember the height of the seat post unless I mark it but even then I forget to do that and have to start all over.

50x15 (or the equivalent, 47x14 .... 52/53x16) is what almost everybody uses unless you are like a super human... have no idea what league you are but IMO with 49x15 unless is super windy you will get too short in short and long sprints, not even tell in pace making in a long per points race.
So is not like super secret what you were using
Sprinters prefer 47x14 because you can continue accelerating with that but you have to be really strong too, 50x15 is like the jack of all trades for track, you can do it all with that. 53x16 is ok but at the moment of facing a pure sprinter you cant accelerate at the end and the guy will smoke you w/o even looking like you are trying to contest him.
Have you tried 1 km already??
