Jersey/short combo

Im wondering about a jersey-short combo and a jersey-bibshort combo i know that the bib shorts have like suspenders while the shorts are just like spandex. what is more comfortable and what ones are usually cheaper also is the cyclingdeal.com a good place to buy from ?

I feel bib shorts keep them pulled up where they should be. I prefer the bibs over shorts hands down.

I predict this is going to go for 5+ pages.

+1

I started out with shorts, as I didn't know any better. I quickly learned that bibs are the way to go.
It's worth the extra $$$ to invest in a bib or shorts with a high quality chamois.
While they work for me, they may not work for everyone. This is on par with the "to shave or not" dilemma...

Bibs... my 1st pair of shorts kept rolling down.

Bibs are more comfortable.

Buy one of each and YOU decide! I can tell you how awesome "balut" is, but it does not mean you are going to like it.

I'm Filipino, and I find balut absolutely disgusting. But back to bibs, are there any in particular that come recommended? The store I work at has one by Nike and another by Bontrager, I believe.

Also, exactly how are bibs worn - suspenders on the inside or outside? If the suspender part of the bib is worn on the outside, what's worn underneath it? A traditional jersey looks slightly uncomfortable.

Jersey goes on the outside...always.

Jersey on the outside, but I've seen base layers worn under bibs too.

Thanks, Ghost Ryder. I've got a thermal base layer and a long warm zip-up jersey-like top here, so I might give that a go in the coming autumn months.
