Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cruising ebay and found this gem, only 25 grand...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/EXTREMELY-RA...ht_6261wt_1236

are you f'ing kidding me, no amount of artfully painted butterflies and leaves makes this bike a "rarity" or worth what they are asking.

Well, as long as there are dentists with mid-life crisis, then that bike won't be overpriced

Free-market prices are based on perceived value and idiots.

Online auctions are made in such a way that the person who overvalues the item sold is the one that ends up buying it.

I would say this would never sell, but man, how can you resist those butterflies. *lemme get my cheque book*
After all, how can you put a price on "PURE ART"...

That was on Ebay a couple of years ago. I don't know if this is the same seller or what the price was .... might have been even higher ?

I think I offered $2000 or so .... seemed like a fair price to me.

First of all you're exaggerating, it's only $24,300 and on top of that you get FREE Shipping as well!

It would be over the top if they had painted the entire rim surface, but as it stands it's a steal at that price.
