Any difference except the sticker on the outside?
How do you know which video it comes with and if it's DVD or VHS - is it on the box?

It's the same thing, they just take advantage of the Lance marketing buzz through a special deal with Trek and (formerly) USPS.

Seperate endorsement contracts.
I don't recall LANCE being a paid endorser for cyclops
although there is a connection with the old USPS team.
Maybe Cyclops can't put LA on the site, he is expensive rock star material
now. (and that is NOT a slam, ok? lets just not get into that).

I don't follow these things. So chalk this up as my impressions...
I thought Lance used a Kurt Kinetics before some other company
paid him to use theirs. I imagine that would be CycleOps.
If no one is endorsing him, I wonder which trainer he is using now?

No no no, lance is still endorsed my cycleops trainers. the whoe discovery team uses them. I was talking about how there are alot of things about foyd landis who is no longer on the discovery team. I was confused because there used to be lance all over the website now its floyd landis, does that help?

On the Paceline.com under LA's sponsors are listed TACX trainers. I'd guess they have an exclusive... Not sure though if it's for Lance only, or it was for the whole USPS team...
OTOH, I think Cyclops was associated with USPS team through Trek initially but now they only use Floyd Landis as their main spokesperson, plus they have a pretty close marketing relationship with Carmichael Training systems (CTS)...

When I purchased my Fluid2 trainer it came with the Time Trial DVD which it said it came with. I sold mine DVD on Ebay to cut some of the cost of the trainer down.
