Bontrager SuperCharger or TurboCharger HP; how do they fare?

I own a Super Charger, and so far, so good. Fairly easy to get 110 psi, all aluminum parts on the outside (can't speak for the guts, though the handle is made of plastic), gauge is easy to read, and the air release button is on an easy-to-reach spot on the pump head.

Tracking this thread. I have the same pump as the OP. I inflate my tires to 110/120 Psi but actually never had a problem with the Joe Blow Max. I do agree that the mechanism that attaches to the valve is a little fiddly, but not too bad. I found on it locks on tight and secure. And I cant really say my experience has been that anything over 90 Psi is extremely difficult. I routinely pump my tires to 120 Psi without even thinking about it. Takes a few seconds, literally.

If you have the exact same pump as me, then it sounds like my pump is mucked up.

The silca is great (have one, VERY easy to pump up to high pressures and quickly too) but that monster head is a PITA.

I cant be certain of course, but what you wrote in the opening post did surprise me. I mean, I use it at least once a week, and it is pretty fast and hassle free to me. I'm not saying it is the best floor pump in the world, but it does a decent job. Something seems off. But hey, if it does not work for you for wahtever reason, then get something that does. I also prefer pumps that you can screw on, though I also like how fast you can attach and detach with this kind of system.

I love, just love, my Specialized Airtool pump. Easy attachment to the tire stem, pumps up to high pressure quickly and a nice large pressure guage for my lousy eyes.

Just an update - loving the new pump! Works quite well!
