October's Addiction Madness '12

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

October's Addiction Madness '12

I want to prove that I am the only one that she should ever need, and I want to be everything for her. If I can accomplish that, the chips will fall into place in my favor.
Oh dear Lob.

As said by every guy with a failed relationship, ever.

It's not you that has to prove your worth. She has to prove her worth to you.

And she's failing.

Grow a spine and some balls man.

i have balls. Hence the reason I crashed the s-works twice today. The first one was on a fast downhill sweeper. The berm looked good so i hit it hard, and fast, but he front wheel washed out, and I endoed landing on my shoulder.

I'm sorry, but when someone you really care about says you make them suicidal, you kinda want to avoid triggering those feelings. I did, and everything was great otherwise. We can work everything out eventually, but yesterday's conversation was effing rough. I seized today, and turned things around. There are times to be a hard ass, but this was not one of them. Well I could of, but I would of hated myself for it. Irregardless of any sort of positive outcome from ending things today, I really would of hated it.

It won't really be fixed until it's at least 10-15 lbs. trimmer. I am working on it.

This new iPhone totally saved my business ass on Saturday with a tight deadline job for my biggest client. I was able to get the email, review the job, communicate with the client and forward the work to my freelancer, all while I was on the road. Otherwise, it would have waited until Saturday night, and the job may never have gotten done on time, or at least it would have made it much harder. I guess I'm realizing that even though the tiny screen is a pain, it really offers you the capabilities of a laptop in a pocket sized package. Takes a little longer to do things on it compared to my MB Air, but it's great having that resource on hand all the time when you are on the run.

Pcad joins the Smart Phone Revolution. And it only took 5 years. I should have gotten one of these in 2009.

Just enjoy the sex and don't count on the end game. If she is not going to break-up with the other guy you should also be looking for other options.

I would use a condom.

She is going to do it. She just doesn't want to be bullied into it. I have plenty of other options. I just don't care about any of them. For me it is make this work, or move on. I don't count on anything. I have no expectations. I'd like to make it work, but if it doesn't I'll be fine.

or she's just wildly manipulative. facts is facts though....as soon as someone mentions the S word then all bets are off. Head for the door, or get them professional help. If you think you can control their feelings you're pretty out of touch and need to get a handle on the inability to control feelings. She can't control her feelings, how could you?

We've got a whole new week, and month starting today. I hope it is a good one for all you idiots. The threat of impending doom lingers, but I won't let it stop me from having a good month. Doing my first 5k race Saturday morning. Going for a run with the poodle shortly. My how things have changed. Riding mountain bikes, running, training hard on the bike for next year, getting a new job, and of course this gf situation. That's a effing lot on my plate. Crazy times.

It might come to that. I haven't ruled it out. I definitely want to help her in anyway I can. I don't want to control her feelings, I just want to help her, and help us grow this relationship together.

Ok I'm gonna be serious here

you are an active participant in this relationship. But not in the way that you think. Your job is to take care of you. You can support her, but you cannot change her. That is her job.

You need to explore your own motivations here. Saying "if it works, great. If not, I'll live" is lying to yourself. Look inside, either with or without professional help and discover YOUR motivation. Only then can you be a good husband/ boyfriend, or whatever.

Now back to your regular scheduled shenanigans
