Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd be afraid of a woman that wore shoes that large. And I do have just about enough bikes to say that I have matching bikes...4 road + 1 TT bike.

Would love to try bont, but havent find the one for the right price hehehe My other issue is the shape, dont like it but is just my personal tihng, probably the shoes are nice.

I do have a question for the bont user, how is the heel retention compared with specialized for example???
Bont heel retention is amazing. I molded mine a couple times as the entire shoe is a carbon tub that has heat moldable resin (can be molded as many times as you want). You don't even need to run orthotics because the whole point is the sole of the shoe becomes your insole and provides support where needed.

When I ride I just leave the velcro and then just attach the ratchet buckle but since I sized them perfectly I don't tighten them down. My foot doesn't move with them unbuckled.

In my world, we call this hoarding! Okay, so I'm envious - just a tad! I'd like to sell a few pairs of your shoes so I could invest in a new set of wheels.

Bont Vaypors! w/ sole footbeds.
did not like how cleat bolts felt and needed to fill in space in footbed.
re drilled cleat location and strap locations.
use a strip of duct tape to keep the toe strap down, ruined the velcro w heat gun.

Curious if you have any issues with the toe protector hitting the pedals with your cleats moved way up like that. I got use to it after a couple rides but my cleats are further back. I would imagine that far up would piss me off.

No issues, same as before, but I do have cleat spacers sue to leg length discrepancy.

The best part is that I got 'em for 25 dollars!

I have white pedals, so they scuff up against the black carbon pretty well.

Back when my Ergo 2's were new last year. Next to my older Genius 6.6 which I think actually are slightly more comfortable. Could be because they are more worn in.
