Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This arrived today via a slow boat from China, took 3 weeks. Went to the grocery store tonight in a good rain, whats a better night for testing? If it lasts, I won't ever think to need to shop for another, and they lowered the price too.

DiNotte 300 lumen on the front bar and DiNotte 180 blinkie off the rear. After the time change I'll put another 300 lumens on my helmet.
But according to my riding partners, the rear light is way too harsh.

Magic shine 900 on the bars, PBSF rear, and Dinotte 200L on my helmet. The extra light on the helmet is almost essential for twisty dark roads - you can turn your head to illuminate where you're going rather than having to wait for your bars to be pointing in the right direction. The dinotte is nice as a helmet light as it's pretty light weight, including the battery pack.

I would be VERY interested in hearing a review. I have seen this light for sale online in the $35-40 price range and although it probably doesn't really put out much more than 800 lumens, that's still pretty amazing bang for the buck. Even seems better than the MagicShine 900 which was the "it" light 2 years ago.

The thing is probably roughly as bright as an automobile headlight.

Front: MiNewt (blinding white!) the flash mode, I have been told, can be seen VERY far away and is VERY annoying.
Rear: Radbot - friend of mine was driving behind me, didn't know it was me, he said he slowed down WAY before he got close to me since he wasn't quite sure what was flashing on the side of the road.

Edit: Both of them have survived many Florida monsoons. No issues at all.
