Energy drinks
Does anyone have any recommendations for something to put in my bottles during faster group rides where I'll get dropped if I fumble about trying to eat a gel or take off my winter gloves to access food? I was thinking of something with carbs, protein and caffeine might be useful to keep up energy levels which tend to flag half way around a 60 mile ride at 20mph.

I just picked up some Cytomix on sale at the LBS. I usually mix my own, but this was super cheap. You cam make your own with some maltodextrin and caffeine plus maybe a little bit of protein. That's really all you need.
