Roubaix SL3 vs SL4 GO!
Hello fellow Roubaix owners, i here call for a vs post from you! (once comparison can be asserted!)
It seems the sl3 was a one run thing. if you go to the specialized site you'll notice the choice is either sl4 or sl2. I currently ride an sl3, and love it. the sl4 looks sexy. |
Is that the SL3 in your avatar? Looks pretty sweet.

1965 Moulton 4-speed, imported by Huffy to USA, a very cool commuter bike.

Basically this is what I've heard though you were being sarcastic. Stiffer, a bit more compliant, and heard a bit lighter but can't confirm that

Cant speak about the sl3 but my sl4 is fantastic! Dont know how it compares to an s works though. I might think that the sl4 has a similar compound to the s works sl3 being the 10r.

i suspect a lot has happened to the roubaix (manufacturing). The 2011 sl2's was a trickle down from 2010 s-works. Then mid year, sl3 hits the road. The sworks being 11r and BB30. 2012 arrives SL4, and SL2 is still rolling. IMO this could mean speacialized is moving to a different manufacturing model, fast redesign. |
I like the Moulton.
