Thanksgiving Day Ride
I hope many of you got out for a ride early today after popping the bird or pies into the oven. I have made this a habit for years and it is the best part of the day. No one anywhere and you have the roads to yourself!

Maybe I'm a bit daft, but what the hell are you trying to achieve with this photo?

I did a solo 50 this morning. No plans to ride this evening. The rest of the day is for turkey and football.

I woke up late and was too lazy to do the club ride so i did a solo ride on the coast. Lots of cyclists. One of the local clubs had well over 100 riders going the opposite way.
Now I'm sitting at an outdoor table on Coast Hwy drinking coffee.

Got in a quick 20 miler on the Spooky, it's maiden voyage. Didn't have time for more as the neighborhood turkey bowl football game is a no-miss event!
Happy Thanksgiving all!!

1.5 hr. spin class by our local female TT champ. Hit the weights after. I'll ride with the wife for an hour this afternoon, get some low glycogen pain. Traffic was marvelously low this morning. Could have gone out except I like her classes, fun to suffer with others.

Yes, if you don't count the few hundred other cyclists:

Got 17.35 miles in with my wife this morning. Schedule hasn't allowed us to ride at all for a couple of weeks, so it felt GREAT to get out. Would have gone longer but we're still working through her saddle issues and the turkey had to go in the oven.

A couple pictures from my ride this morning...
This guy couldn't hold a line to save his can!

Then he had to stop and poke around in the bushes. Sheesh!

Happy Thanksgiving

Joined the usual weekend group for a ride in the morning. A bit windy but nice ride. Thought we were only gonna do 40 but ended up doing 60 miles. Guess that's a good excuse to eat more turkey tonight.
