My favorite shoes gave up their glue.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey,

My favorite cycling shoes have given up the ghost. These suckers are old.

Luckily I saw it coming and got some new Specialized shoes as backup. But there is nothing as cool as these available these days.

Any of you been attached to some special gear that you hated to see get past their expire date?

I think a shoe repair shop might be able to fix them. Worth a try at least.

Well heck, that did not occur to me. Trashed them this weekend

I think they are circa 2003 or so, so I got plenty of use out of them.
