That's why.

Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

That's why.

That's why.

‎23 miles on the Cervelo today. Felt great. My ankle didn't hurt. My back didn't hurt. My pelvic floor didn't hurt. Good grief, it's been so long since nothing on my friggin body hurt I forgot how great riding a bike on a windy freezing 35F day could be. It was a high. Regained my health just in time for prime winter riding weather.

The Pcad Cycling Zen may be returning.

This feeling. That's why I ride. The fred vs. road nazi 41/33 sturm und drang is total effing white noise.

I cut the check for the 2013 sponsorship for the Brauer Racing boys today. So maybe they'll still talk to me next season.

That wouldn't be hard to achieve. I have to get the photoshopping editor on to those pictures Machka keeps posting.

I presume you're off the warfarin/coumadin?

this

I wuss out below 40 (assuming it's a windless 40). Windy 45 and I usually opt for the trainer or I'll go for a run.

Yay New England cycling.

Soon it will be colder than that. You get used to winter riding. I like it.

And yes, I've been off blood thinning meds for nearly a year now.
