Well the temptation might exist

In Colorado, driving under suspension/revocation when the basis for the suspension is an alcohol related driving offense is a mandatory 30 days jail (two year max). Ohio will have something similar.

You'll go to jail. You'll owe your attorney another retainer. You'll lose your DL for a longer period. You'll be one strike closer to habitual traffic offender status.

Colorado has a biking under the influence (BUI) charge. No points, no DL revocation, but same criminal penalties as a DUI.

I got to 40 laps of the pool today. I am knackered.

I forgot to take the shoes I normally use for the gym, and instead did 40 minutes of walking in croc lookalikes with socks... I shouldn't have done that. The tootsies are a bit sore under the ball.

coasting 01-07-13 09:00 PM

Datlas is such a lucky guy. And he has an anorexic body that we all wish we had.

For pity's sake Rowan, lose the Dream Dare Do signature.

Either that or put one in with a picture of friggin Yoda saying 'There is no try there is do or do not' which is considerably dumber.

How was Les Mis, by the way, datlas? As good as it should have been?

Nice job.

Hey sbxx, one of the team bikes is getting built up with SR11 and had this for a FD to be able to shift a Quarq with Praxis rings. I had a look at the SR FD while I was there. It's very pretty and light, but is more flexy than even my Ti Red FD... not shocking it can be a bit particular about what it works with.

Nah, I gave it considerable thought on my leave of absence and decided it can stay. I don't get to see it, for reasons I mentioned previously -- switching off sigs on the user options makes things so much cleaner.

Anyway, Dream Dare Do is a bit more inspirational than a website address touting business...

coasting 01-07-13 09:12 PM

I'm going to change my sig to "You can do it!" jst to piss of the pcad.

The only idiots dopey enough to actually be inspired by your tag line are on the 41 anyway, so that's perfect.

Another 41 shortcoming.

I was at the Open golf tournament as a spectator one year and a Spanish kid was yelling "You can do it" in a really strong Spanish accent. It was so funny the whole crowd of thousands laughed in unison.

Interesting. Doesn't surprise me. SR has always seemed to be more about show than performance. That's why I went with Record last time.

Quarq told me the issue would be finding an 11sp ring that is stiff enough to handle an electronic FD.

That's because no-one would be able to get past you pressing it every five seconds for your own posts.

We aren't stupid, you know.

I'm thinking it's hotter without the Reynolds decals. If you kept the valve one, it would be very stealthy. Or, you could order black decals. Mine came from this place - in Uruguay, I think. Free name/team decals came with the order.

Thanks sbxx. A teammate has a Scott with the stem decal on his wheels, and I was actually thinking the same thing. Dark grey, or none.

Thanks Assassin. I like the contrast, but the next set will be black.
