new frame, or new bike?
 

just saw the 2013 cervelo s5. the frameset is 3800. i currently have a 2009 s2. however an additional $500 gets a complete bike for 4300.

thinking of just paying 4300 for the s5, swapping in my existing parts (if better, pretty sure the wheels are) and selling it. think it's a good idea? or just get the frameset?

It's usually cheaper to buy a complete bike and to sell off any parts that you don't want.

Cervelo's site lists the Rival version for $3,800, the same price as the frame. You might as well just buy that.
