Look 481 sl?

I found a LOOK 481 SL from 2006 for sale and I was wondering what you guys think it's worth

complete 105 group

shimano WH-r600 wheels

FSA carbon bars

Easton EA50 Stem

no pedals or saddle.

Looked through pictured and it looks like it's in really good condition.

asking 900

Is there no asking price or are we suppose to guess?

I think it's worth a Look (pun intended). It was a spendy frame.

Great pun :p

Yeah, i did the same earlier and only found MSRP prices from way back in 2004-2006. I'm going to go check it out this weekend, hope it fits...

I own a Look 481 SL with a Campy Record group and Ksyrium wheels. It is my favorite bike. Relatively light, very comfortable and I like how it looks. It is the bike I always choose for longer group or solo rides. Assuming it fits you I think you will enjoy riding it.

One important thing you need to know about though is the seatpost issue with this frame. The binder bolt configuration is quite unusual. It pinches the post similarly to the way an old quill stem expands inside the fork steerer tube. When you get the bolt tight enough to keep the post from slipping it will crush a carbon fiber post. I went thru 4 Look carbon posts. Finally Look stopped making them and they disappeared from eBay. The frame uses a 25.0 mm post. The only one I was able to find was a cheap-o aluminum post. I believe it came from Kalloy. I torqued the binder bolt to 5 NM and still had to put a hardware store hose clamp around the post just above the seat tube to keep the post from sliding down. I spray painted it black. It looks fine and no one notices it is there, but you still need to know about it.
