Anyone heard of Seigler frames?
 

On my quest for a super small used road bike. i came up on an ad for a seigler 12k carbon bike with ultegra components...guy is asking 1000 but i've never heard of this frame? I'm guessing it's some rebranded one? Can someone provide some insight about these frames?

Ok, so I found out they're made by karbona and just got some paint and seigler stuff on them, they're branded seigler for north america sales but i think they have gone out of business as their website is no longer working.

Mod could you delete, or leave it for future seigler searches?

They were imported by Wes Seigler, who is/was a former pro who wanted bikes with his name on them. He's since moved on to fishing equipment.

I have a CCR w/ SRAM Red. It's my primary bike, and I've been completely happy with it.

I went to a team training camp once and he was one of the coaches. I really liked the aero bump at the bottom of the frame under the bottom bracket. I have no idea if it did anything but it was cool / different.

Was it a copy of the Cinelli cast bump? Was reading about that bump over Christmas, and it was designed to draw moisture out of the weep hole in the bottom of the BB, by creating a differential pressure.

Not sure. This "bump" was a couple of inches tall.

Probably not then. The Cinelli bump looks like .500" or so high and the width of the BB (from picture only), and almost looks like a wide shallow fin where the downtube meets the BB. It was an interesting read about it, and apparently had some scientific testing done to see if it worked (and it apparently did).
