Hot deals - post 'em if you got 'em.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks, snagged one.

Edit to add: The Wahoo RPM Speed Sensor is $30.59. I don't know if that's a good price for the standalone sensor, since I bought the RPM speed & cadence bundle that is typically cheaper than getting the two sensors separately.

Chainreactioncycles has the Fly6 taillight/camera on sale at 50% off. 81.49. That's a ridiculous price.

This is the older model with 720P camera and 30 lumens light. The newer ones are now 1080P and 100 lumens. Just wanted to point that out so people don't think they are getting the latest.

These are my go to commuting tire. Work very well, great traction, still reasonably fast. Also used them in a road race that had 12 miles of dirt/gravel roads. Highly recommended.

Do you like using garden hoses for tires?

Great price, on a terrible tire.

I guess that depends on the garden hose.

I've had a set of 700x32s on a hybrid for a while and they've been fine. They are not intended for racing.

Indeed. I'm still going through them on my commuter. I swear they throw up sparks when I corner.

$349 for a full 105 5800 groupset at chain reaction cycles: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/us/en/shimano-105-5800-11-speed-groupset/rp-prod116477?gs=1&sku=sku502151&pgrid=54137515364&ptaid=pla-449986103654

Not all combinations are available (e.g., 172.5mm cranks can only be had with a medium-cage derailleur and 11-32 cassette), but most are.

Steep and Cheap has Pearl Izumi sunsleeves in various sizes. Just over $13.

I just got another pair from Amazon, or I'd go for it.

RedWhite is having a sale on their bibs and jerseys. They are well-known in certain circles for "The Bibs," which are designed for comfort on longer rides with a plush chamois. They normally go for $140, are on sale for $120, and if you give them your email, they will give you a stackable 20% off coupon code which is good for 24 hours. This brings the price down to $96.

You can find video and written reviews of their bibs, including a thread or two here on BF. The chamois in The Bib is pictured below.

I put about 1000 miles on a set of those and they wore very well. They had a lot of miles left on them when I ditched them. They rode so-so. Had a kinda vague feeling. They gripped the road well enough. They are a MOTHER to mount.

Uhm, why would I spend $360 on a bottom bracket? Even with 10% discount? I can get a Dura Ace bottom bracket for $30.

They claim it "lasts longer". Sure, but I can buy more than 12 Dura Ace brackets for 1 of these. Does it last 12 times longer?
Lower friction? I never felt my bottom bracket as a point of friction that was holding me back...
