Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

FYI - sierratradingpost.com has some Pearl Izumi stuff (no bibs) and frequently have 20% and up to 30% coupon codes which if you hit right can = good deals.

Considering they're in the UK, and usually ship out of Belgium, an order in the USA morning isn't going to get picked/shipped until the night at best. That being said, my order 3-4 days ago is still awaiting stock pick, so not sure what that's about. All but one of my orders in the past year has been received within 2 weeks of order (usually about 10 days). One got hung up in customs an extra few days and then had trouble with the post office completing delivery that added 3 more days. Wiggle and Ribble are faster, but Wiggle usually uses DHL to complete customs and USA fulfillment and most of the time I've been charged duties on my orders that DHL fulfills...never been charged yet on a USPS fulfilled order (all PBK orders...a couple of my Wiggle orders).

I wish that I had pulled the trigger, does anyone know when these are going back on sale again?

Prior to the $90 deal they last dropped to $103 back in dec, but I don't know when they'll drop in price again though.

Nashbar has free shipping on any price today if you add a Nashbar product to the cart. You can buy a cheap water bottle or something for like a dollar and get free shipping. I picked up a couple of things and got free shipping. Sweet deal.

I don't remember right now but I think I remember you saying you were a clyde once....I could very well be mistaken, well no mistake, I am a clyde and to me it seems the small stuff is always on sale. I would think it would be the opposite, being that most cyclist are smaller, I would think sizes XL and up would be harder to get sold.

Bikenashbar.com is having 60% off all their Easton Vuelta wheels. Looks like they're mostly 8/9/10 speed wheelsets, but there's a lot to choose from and the prices are pretty decent:

Again, thank you so much for the heads up on this deal. I can't believe how awesome this kit is and for only $138. I wish I had bought a dozen of them lol.

Has the deal already expired? I saw the email on Wednesday which said the Vuelta Corsa SLR wheel set was only $219 but on the website it says they're $379.

I ended up with 4 pairs of PI Elite bibs for $81/ea shipped. I ordered Pro bibs but ripped the leg gripper the first time I tried them on so I exchanged them for the Elites. Just file January away as a good time to stock up on PI shorts/bibs on Amazon.

Pricepoint has free shipping on orders over $50 this weekend. Good time to stock up on tubes.

If Assos bibs are your thing - mark down January at Ribble.

Decent deal on a nice set of training tires. I have used them and had no issues. Michelin Lithion 2 $50 for the set.

Seems like a decent deal for these Di2 Dura-Ace shifters but I could be wrong:

Good deal if you're looking for replacements or spares- 7970 doesn't use the same wiring system as the current gen di2 stuff, so it has a relatively short life at this point.

I knew there had to be a catch. I don't know the new stuff very well.

Yep you're seeing it right. The black and white one with just a little red is much cheaper. Totally worth the $63.
