Some of the reviews I read said that it couldn't recognize USB 3.0 ports (which is what all but 2 of the ports on my home PC are) for some reason and people whose computers only had them couldn't get it to boot up or be recognized by the computer. My computer didn't recognize it at first either when I tried the USB 3.0 so I switched to the USB 2.0 port. There it worked, but there was still a lag before it was recognized, so maybe I didn't wait long enough on the 3.0 port. I don't know why it would make a difference.

He has two discount codes. One for VIP and one for just 10% discount (on most products.....Wahoo and Garmin don't like discounts so they won't apply).

What does the VIP get you? I had assumed that it just got the 10%off code to work (I haven't found a live code for 10 off via DCR that wasn't VIP, but I haven't turned over every rock, either) in addition to a couple of special sales per year.

Powertap G3 hubs are only $399 on Amazon right now. I've had one in my cart for a while and in the last 3 months I've been watching the price slowly drop all the way down from $600. I couldn't pass this up.

Haven't tried because the fine print says "Only eBay members registered with an address located in the United States or Canada are eligible for the Coupon" and I just expect them to be as restrictive as possible. Suppose I could try anyway, but I'm annoyed enough to just pass.
