Nashbar just sent out a Shimano sale notification. Lots of stuff on sale, but things like Ultegra (R8000) pedals for $99 are interesting. Might be a good time to stock up on wear items, too - HG701 chains @$18 (OE packaging, not sure if it includes a quick link), 105 cassettes @$37, etc.

Transition from 6800 to R8000 has Ultegra on sale a lot of places. Looks like Shimano is on sale on may Internet stores (Chain Reaction, Performance, Nashbar, etc.). I agree stock up on components. I picked up a 105 crankset for USD 137.00 on the eBay store of Wheel and Sprocket.

It was from their bike assembly department. They had the stand out for sale and I asked the manager about any bike tools.
