What color socks????

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Purple with pink hearts.

Arctic-Cat Hi-Vis booger green.

Who cares what color socks you have. Just get out and ride.

Oh, and for what it's worth, I just buy the plain white low profile jockey running socks. They are thin, comfortable, and low-profile, so not very noticable at all. Best of all, they are cheap. I got 6 pairs for $5 on sale at Mervyns.

I've picked up several pair of socks buying on the net as bonus items, no color choice. Have some grey Tour de France, and white DeFeet Aireators.

Actually, black cotton low rise is what I use most, great place to wipe grase of your fingers after messing with the chain etc.

No sweat socks zone here.
If I am cycling, then I must wear cycling socks.

They breathe better. They look better. Just me.

Engineers were always ridiculed for wearing brown socks brown shoes. Roadies are ridiculed for wearing black or is it white?

I don't really care, as long as the socks don't go up to my knees. That's when black socks wouldn't work, in my opinion.

black without a doubt

Hides grease, hides mud from rainy rides. When you have to ride across a flooded bridge you can lay them out in the sun and they dry faster than white (this really just happened.)

can't wear black socks with black shoes. it looks like you're wearing boots. one of my newbie friends started wearing black socks when he saw lance do it at the tour. it looks dumb. everytime he asks if i think he's gotten any better, i say "i dunno, man...haven't noticed. i still can't get over your silly black socks." i started calling him "boots."
i think black socks look cool with some white shoes.

I don't know which are bad colours
But I've been developing a strong bond with blue/black/white.
I'd probably like yellow more, if it weren't for the malliot june

SmartWool RBX Racers in any color you like. I happen to like black socks with black shoes, but whatever floats your fancy.
