Is Armstrong still your hero/role model ??
O. K. He finally confessed. A couple of months back when he said he just didn't want to fight allegations anymore there was clearly a problem. Sounded like the guy undergoing a 12 hour interrogation in the police station who finally confesses to a crime he didn't commit. Difference is Lance had freedom and lots of money to back him.
So he finally admits guilt.
Doping or not he clearly is quite an athlete but I suppose the "addiction" of being the best was just too much and he hit the EPO and roid pipe.
He is so addicted that he is now confessing in an attempt to once more compete and get back on top.
Don't think he will ever race in TDF again much less win.
Hope he is sleeping better tonight. It must have a miserable few years looking over your shoulder and crossing your fingers.
He finally did the right thing.
Just wondering if anybody on the board still places him on a pedestal ?

This is the insightful analysis that makes the 41 what it is.

I never really paid attention to Armstrong over the years (I knew the name, but not much else). Now as the story comes out, reading all about it, I am quite disgusted. It's not even just doping. I don't care much about doping. It's about all the nasty tactics - pushing others in the team to dope, and using threats and lawsuits to silence anyone who tried to speak out, all to keep his little dirty secret.
I don't think that he will ever compete in a sanctioned event again. I don't think we can risk letting him. He has zero credibility and we can't ever be sure that he won't dope again.
