Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I use my girlfriend's Venus razor, with no shaving cream. After your first five or so shaves, your skin kinda toughens up to it.

If the hair on your legs are long. Use hair clippers before you shave. It makes the whole process easier. Then after a nice long ride, fill the tub up and soak for awhile. Then use the razor of your choice, soap or shaving cream, and shave away.

I don't shave my legs. But if I did, I would use a dull razor with whatever I use to lube my chain, in order to counter the fact that I'M A MAN WHO'S SHAVING HIS LEGS!!!

I just use soap in the shower. Works good and it doesn't irritate. Prob wont work with sensitive skin though.

British websites sell professional cycling depilatories. You can also buy these in muscle builder shops (although they would have a good chuckle at some skinny guy going for Mr.Universe).

That sounds better than, "...I'll take the one with the pink handle and some moisturizing aloe.."

Governor Awnuld shaves.

I did it once and I'll never do it again. It felt wierd and I was all cut up. Also took like an hour in the shower using cream and I used like 10 disposable razors.

I have hairly legs and Im proud

PS: This was back when I was swimming.

electric is #$@$ing right!!! When I first tried it with my gillette, it took like 3 hours to finish cuz my hair kept clogging the razor. Use a good electric one first, then go over it with a razor.

and electric wont do much unless I use the beard trimmer first. I guess that would work, but its not that clean of a shave. Thats why i thought of nair, clean and painless.

nair can burn your skin (depending on skin type/reaction - i had 2 small places react - some scar tissue on my knee and one scabbed area) and smells bad and still misses some hair sometimes. I tried it once and won't use it again, just wasnt worth it.
I used an electric the first time to get it down short, then use a regular twin blade disposable and the $.85 shaving cream.

Dry lube, wet lube, butt butter, weird lyrca outfits, bizarre plastic hats with chin straps, shades that make you look like your saucer just landed in Roswell, N.M., $300 shoes that are good for 10 or 15 paces before you fall on your ass outside the 7-11. Yeah, it's a great look. But it just wouldn't be complete without making your legs look like they were plucked by Frank Perdue.

The feeling of shaved legs ids wird at first but you will get use to it. Nair works but as mentioned above it can burn and it has a nasty smell. The beard trimer or hair clipers to take thing down with long hiar in very necisary. Then any razor and cream or soap to male things smooth. A little hand cream after shaving helps to.

But I married the one girl who doesn't like shaved legs or at least me halving smoother legs then her.

Tom's of maine shaving cream in the metal tube like a toothpaste tube. Very slick. Yeah, trim your hair down buzz cut style first.
Jesus, do people really think a razor is good on 1/2 inch or longer hairs?!?!?!??!?!
"It's clogging my razor"
Where's the common sense?
