Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If it's a normal saddle bag, it should fit fine.

But, Fizik also has saddle bags that clip into their saddles. Very convenient, especially if you have multiple bikes with Fizik saddles. Clip it in and go for a ride on any bike, using the same bag.

I like the concept of the Fizik bag clip, but... they will break. I've broken two.

I have broken two Fizik bags as well, so moved back to Topeak. Also it's hard to get the single screw tight enough, and the bag moves up and down and creaks on bumpy roads. A real shame as it's a good idea, just needs better execution.

I've used a variety of bags, including a Topeak, on an Aliente with no problems.

No likey clips. They break or can come loose. Straps are bulletproof.

Hi, this is interesting. I broke one during a ride and I didn't notice until I got home and only the clip was still attached to the saddle. Fortunately there was just patched tubes, some CO2, and a small tool thingy in the bag. However, about 6 months before it broke, I had crashed and the bag and clip survived but the fitting on the saddle broke. I originally saw that as a good thing because the saddle was trashed anyway and I was able to continue using the bag. When the clip on the bag broke I chalked it up to the crash weakening the clip.

I've had the new bag for almost a year and so far, so good.

I like the ICS because I have three different road bikes and it makes it easy to transfer the bag from bike to bike. Yes, straps work too but they are just that much more inconvenient. Plus I really like the size of the small fi’zi:k Saddle Pa:k.

Seems weird this thread has made it this far without some d-bag spouting off about jersey pockets.
