Denali strike again.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think that the GMC font looks a little like the BMC font.

Maybe that it is funny that people are bidding on a bike that you can buy at Wal-Mart?

Wut? I'm racing Cat2 on one of those this coming season. The yellow paint makes it FAST.

googling they sell for 170 at the xmart. Although I have never seen one in a store. So you would probably need to order one on line. So 130 plus shipping is probably slightly less than you would pay ordering.

oh i see. well, I've bought stuff at a supermarket and I have to say that they were all sheeet! Generally supermarkets have some decent stuff in other sectors but in cycling schwag they are freaking pitiful.

I am in no way advocating for the Denali, but last summer when I first thought to myself "Hey maybe I will get into road biking," I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a bike I might not keep riding, so I bought one. I put almost a thousand miles on it before winter with no problems short of a couple punctured tires. Of course now that I am signed up for a couple Duathlons and have my sights on some charity rides I replaced it at the start of the year. But for me it served a good purpose
