Anti-Porn thread?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

These "freaks of nature" ought to be confined to carnival side shows, right beside the other aberrations of nature,

The second one just looks like a tri bike put together on a budget. Or maybe it's just for use on the trainer - in this case, who cares about aero, as long as the pedals, seat, and bars are positioned correctly relative to one another?

The first one I don't even understand, and the last looks like the wrong bike is being used for the job.

Especially if it's a stolen bike.

I suspect the first one belongs to some poor bastard with neck problems (I can sympathize) who's still trying to be competitive in time trials or triathlons.

As for the rest, most modern carbon bikes look like like **** anyway, so I give the whole thread a big wet raspberry. I do wish I'd been the one to think of putting Zipps on my Raleigh, though.

Some triathlete friends of mine convinced me to give one a go. To be a funny guy I threw this together for the event. It was dubbed 'tank' do to the weight of the Schwinn frame and paint which is Army surplus.

+1 that will be hard to top. It is like an onion of fail - every time I think I've found all of the fail, I see something new.

The Goat

It ain't pretty but it's tough as hell and great for multi-surface trails. I wish I had a picture with the MTB fenders on it.

It really does require some time to truly appreciate the genius of this creation. There is A LOT of effort here.

Hah, we have one of these threads over in the 178.
Got pretty gnarly towards the end. Got closed cause of load times and a new one was started, doesn't have much yet though.
